Sources

Guides explain methods. Where a guide states a fact about the outside world — a regulator’s rule, how a data source records time, how a system behaves — it cites a primary source: the organisation that sets the rule or runs the system. Each source is listed with its title, publisher and the date we last accessed it. A single market’s source is not used to make claims about other markets. If a claim cannot be checked against a primary source, it is removed or clearly marked as an assumption of the example.

Recomputing examples

Every worked example uses illustrative numbers, not a real security. In the maximum drawdown and CAGR guides, the main worked example is also recorded in a structured form and recomputed with the same calculation code the website’s calculators use; if the recorded result differs from that recomputation, the website cannot be built and published until it is fixed. Other figures in a guide, including dates and logic examples, are checked by independent review, not recomputed automatically. Where a calculator exists, the guide links to it so you can recompute the example yourself.

How guides are written and reviewed

Drafts may be written by an AI assistant. The author shown on a guide is the actual author, and an AI draft is labelled as one. No guide is published until it has been independently reviewed:

  • a reviewer can never be the author of the version they review;
  • guides with a high risk of being misread need two independent reviewers;
  • a review applies to one exact version: any change to the text or to its reviewed details makes the earlier review invalid until the new version is reviewed again.

Guides are published by the StratForge Research Workbench editorial team. Most guides are drafted by an AI assistant and reviewed by independent AI reviewers; they have not been reviewed by a human legal, financial or tax professional. Each guide names its actual author and reviewers, and marks AI drafting and AI review as such.

Translation

English is the source language. A translation records which version of the English text it was made from. When a revised English text is published, a translation is published with it only if it has been updated to that version and reviewed again; until then, the page is not offered in that language. Where a page is not available in your language, the website says so and lets you choose another language; it never switches silently.

Updates

Each published guide shows the date of its most recent valid review. Guides are to be reviewed again when their sources, the calculation method or the website’s tools change.

Corrections

If you find an error, email support@ttoop.com; the feedback page is not open yet. Corrections that change a result or a claim are listed at the bottom of the guide, with the date of the correction and what was changed. A published guide that can no longer be relied on is withdrawn: the published page is updated to a notice saying when and why.

Independence

Guides do not rank or recommend securities, brokers or markets. The website does not accept payment, advertising or sponsorship, and no one pays to be mentioned in a guide or to shape its content. The operator also makes the workbench application; where the website mentions it, that is the operator’s own product.
